About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Turning Point. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psycho-social interventions to clients within our Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation (MHTR) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of the Clinical Lead to assess clients within a court setting and deliver psycho-social treatment to clients.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Complete post-treatment reports and contribute to the evaluation of the service.
  • Assist in clinically related administration, administer questionnaires or standardized psychometric tests, conduct audits, collect data and statistics, and contribute to research projects, teaching, and project work.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in psychology and BPS Graduate Membership. You will have previous experience of working in a health or social care setting and good verbal and written communication skills. Experience carrying out research and working with clients within a forensic field is desirable but not essential.
