About the Role

Computappoint, a leading UK-based IT services and consulting organization, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer and a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The successful candidates will provide hands-on input into the team responsible for supporting large-scale IT solutions, particularly in the storage and backup space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using VMware, Veeam, and Netbackup.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless support for various IT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer-facing skills to support clients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to expand knowledge and skills.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering for the Infrastructure Engineer role.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles, with some leadership experience, for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer role.
  • Strong understanding of IT consultancy environments and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with mostly remote work and occasional visits to the Portsmouth office.
