Job Description:

At Leonardo, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Helicopters Division. As a global high-tech company, we are a leader in the design, manufacture, and support of helicopters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing plans of manufacture and assembly sequences, producing work instructions, and creating manufacturing Bills of Material. They will also be accountable for the accurate and timely availability of Work Instructions to support the Master Production Schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably in an aerospace or high-integrity mechanical manufacturing environment. They will have experience with CATIA (V5) & ENOVIA, SAP (ECC6), and Microsoft package software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct plans of manufacture and assembly sequences
  • Produce work instructions and Bills of Material
  • Ensure accurate and timely availability of Work Instructions
  • Implement process design changes and improvements
  • Represent Manufacturing Engineering in a Shop Support role
  • Compile SAP Production Orders
  • Maintain Manufacturing Engineering routings and process documentation

Requirements:

  • Education to at least HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience in an aerospace or high-integrity mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of CATIA (V5) & ENOVIA, SAP (ECC6), and Microsoft package software
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
