About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Home Manager to join our team at HC-One. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our residential care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of kindness and respect within the care home.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Leadership experience in a care setting, preferably with a Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Knowledge of care standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
