Army Movements Training Instructor

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced instructor to join our team at the Defence Movements Training Squadron (DMTS). As a Movements Controller Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to military personnel, civil servants, and contractors in the field of movements control.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver lesson plans, utilizing a range of learning technologies to engage trainees.
- Provide instructional delivery of courses, ensuring that trainees meet the required standards.
- Manage day-to-day course administration, including allocation to the invigilation programme.
- Establish mentoring programmes, mentor new trainers, and conduct line management responsibilities as required.
- Provide initial counselling, coaching, mentoring, and duty of care to students, ensuring good conduct and discipline levels are maintained.
- Supervise students, arranging and delivering remedial/extra tuition as needed.
- Identify errors in training material and undertake remedial action.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. You will also need to be forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and proactive in achieving outcomes.
