Job Summary

Nacro is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Education Centre as a Schools Programme Tutor. This role involves supporting students with academic, vocational, and pastoral subjects to help them develop essential skills for their future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training to a small cohort of students, fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Conduct initial assessments for learners, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement learning resources and environments, ensuring effective student engagement
  • Assist in the delivery of qualifications, providing guidance and support to students
  • Monitor learner progress, tracking student development and adjusting instruction as needed

Requirements

  • A teaching qualification equivalent or above, demonstrating expertise in education
  • Level 2 English and Maths, ensuring strong communication and numeracy skills
  • A DBS check, verifying suitability for working with vulnerable populations
