Lantra, a leading awarding body for land-based industries, is seeking a skilled Horticulture Co-ordinator to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Farming Connect Horticulture project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning events and uploading information to the Farming Connect online systems
  • Communicate with clients and record activity undertaken using the Farming Connect online systems
  • Manage files and records, ensuring all project documentation, spreadsheets, and databases are well-organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible
  • Support the Project Manager by preparing monthly funding claims, performance summaries, and future projections
  • Provide general administrative support to the project staff
  • Enter and maintain data on BAS and BOSS (Farming Connect online systems)
  • Liaise with training providers and support stakeholder delivery partners
  • Assist in delivering the Communications Plan by actively promoting the project

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Ability to co-ordinate and support project activity in the horticulture sector across Wales
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2010 applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and social media
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player
