Mandarin Speaking Travel Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mandarin speaking travel program coordinator to join our team at People First. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating travel programs and ensuring seamless execution of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with existing accounts and establish new relationships with potential sales outlets or trade referrals.
- Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations to meet the needs of potential clients.
- Submit daily feedback to the Operations Manager and Head of China using our online systems.
- Resolve customer queries by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, schools, and partners.
- Analyze and track key metrics such as sales leads and conversions.
- Support sales partners in finding school partners.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with sales partners, schools, and government bodies to enhance productivity.
- Research and source new suppliers.
- Assist with documentation and organization of international school trips.
- Organize and deliver leadership delegations, including creating itineraries to a set budget and making reservations.
- Organize and deliver student trips, including creating itineraries to a set budget and making reservations.
- Keep detailed records of all key contacts and prospects.
- Assist in sales calls to secure and close deals.
- Mandarin mother tongue and English fluency.
- Ability to travel between China and the UK 2-4 times per year.
- Valid working VISA if not a UK citizen.
- Computer literacy across multiple sales and workflow programs.
- People management and leadership skills.
- Financial and commercial acumen with strong data analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven with a desire to exceed KPIs.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced situations and surroundings.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
- Sales and/or PR related experiences in Education or Travel industries.
- Operational experience.
- Account management experience.
- Experience with budget preparation and management.
- Degree in a business-related field.
