About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant secondary school community. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the educational journey of our students remains on track, even in the absence of their classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage classes, maintaining a productive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons, engaging students and ensuring they remain on task.
  • Support students with their academic work, providing guidance and feedback to help them succeed.
  • Assist in the implementation of our school's policies and procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff, helping to inform their instruction and support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a supervisory role within an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to students of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education would be an advantage.
