Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Timber Deliveries

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver to join our team on a temporary to permanent contract. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering wood products to customers across the local area using a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete an average of 6 drops per day of wood products to customers across the local area.
  • Drive a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck, with the opportunity to gain experience with a remote grab HIAB for 50% of the workload.
  • Work as part of a transport and delivery team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Class 2 driving license for at least 12 months.
  • Be a minimum of 25 years old.
  • Have no more than 6 points on your driving license.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30am starts daily, usually finished around 3-4pm daily. Average of 40 hours per week.

Hourly Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE). Salaried upon completion of the T2P period.
