Job Title: Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting on behalf of a timber merchant in the Cricklade area for a Class 2 Driver on a temporary to permanent contract.

Job Summary:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing an average of 6 drops per day of wood products to customers across the local area. You will work as part of the transport and delivery team, driving a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck. Due to the nature of the work, a remote grab HIAB is required for 50% of the workload, providing an opportunity to be trained on this too in the long term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete an average of 6 drops per day of wood products to customers across the local area
  • Work as part of the transport and delivery team, driving a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck
  • Operate a remote grab HIAB for 50% of the workload
Requirements:
  • Class 2 driving license
  • At least 12 months' experience as a Class 2 Driver
  • Minimum age of 25 years
  • No more than 6 points on your license
Benefits:

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30am starts daily, usually finished around 3-4pm daily. Average of 40 hours per week.

Pay Rate:
