Position Title:
Nursery Section Supervisor

This position is suited for professionals with a background as an Early Years Teacher, Senior Educator, Room Leader, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Apprentice Educator, Nursery Educator, or Nursery Assistant.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience managing a room or team in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of child development theories and methodologies
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Awareness of childcare regulations and legislation (e.g., Safeguarding)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of a Nursery section, ensuring children's well-being and implementing a comprehensive curriculum
  • Prepare and supervise rooms and outdoor areas daily to ensure safety and conducive learning environments
  • Collaborate with Managers to maintain staff ratios, provide supervision, mentoring, and identify training needs
  • Deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5

  • Evaluate children's development, address concerns, and work closely with parents and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and ensure the nursery's cleanliness and organization
