Civil Engineering Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a minimum of five years in the field, to join a well-established civil engineering contractor.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities, especially water, and proficiency in civil engineering project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Construction Phase Plan and provide information and instruction to clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and support all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality requirements for the business.
  • Prepare and monitor programmes of work.
  • Produce/assist in the production of monthly valuations in conjunction with the Commercial Director/Quantity Surveyor.
  • Prepare early warnings and variations to clients.
  • Support the commercial aspect of the business, which includes estimating and tenders.
Requirements:
  • Hold relevant qualification in Civil Engineering - HNC/HND or BEng.
  • CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS.
  • Streetworks Card.
  • Implementing processes and procedures to maintain ISO standards in HSEQ.
  • Ability to work with existing and potential clients to develop new revenue streams.
