Join Our Team as an Analytical Systems Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at OMEGA, Inc. in Crowborough, East Sussex, UK. As an Analytical Systems Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design, project management, and commercial attainment of Servomex System projects.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity for a talented individual to utilize their engineering and technical skills to positively impact our dedicated systems engineering team at an exciting time for the business. You will be responsible for supporting the quotation stage of projects, attending kick-off meetings, and managing projects to ensure timely delivery of parts and labor resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the quotation stage of projects for materials specification and commercial review
  • Attend kick-off meetings and take responsibility for overall project coordination
  • Manage projects to verify that parts are delivered on time and labor resources are available to meet project schedule dates
  • Notify the Systems Engineering Manager of any conflicts or issues that arise
  • Administer the SAP works order to ensure component parts are specified and ordered on time
  • Review job shortages to ensure project schedules are not adversely affected
  • Produce CAD drawings to ensure system drawings are prepared correctly and submitted on time to the customer
  • Support the shipping and accounts receivable departments with documentation on systems for proper shipment and receipt of payment per project contract
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders. You should have a proven track record of performing as a Project Engineer or closely related role in a similar technical environment. You should also have strong communication and customer focus skills, with the ability to discuss complex and technical details via email, video, phone, and face-to-face.
