We are seeking an experienced and motivated Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Endoscopy team, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Use nursing history assessments and observations to identify patient needs and plan individualized care.
- Care Delivery: Implement and evaluate nursing care, alerting the Ward/Departmental Sister/Charge Nurse to changing health care needs.
- Patient Participation: Facilitate patient and family participation in care planning.
- Documentation and Communication: Document care given and discuss progress with colleagues and the Ward/Departmental Sister/Charge Nurse.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registration as a nurse and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Experience in intravenous drug administration and sufficient post-registration nursing experience in oncology or a related specialty.
We would also consider candidates with:
- Qualification in oncology or a related specialty.
- Recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration, clinical management, and teaching.
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical trials management.
