Position Overview

Are you driven by the challenge of enhancing retail environments and improving customer interactions?

We are looking for a junior Space Planner to become a vital part of our team, focusing on the development of effective planograms.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and implement planograms that optimize the profitability of retail environments. Leverage space planning software to craft layouts that boost product visibility and accessibility. Examine sales metrics and consumer insights to guide planogram strategies. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure planograms align with merchandising tactics and product selections. Confirm that planograms adhere to company standards and industry best practices. Regularly assess planogram effectiveness and suggest modifications to enhance sales and operational efficiency. Stay informed about retail trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to guide planogram creation. Educate and assist store teams in the execution and upkeep of planograms. Offer expertise and advice to stakeholders regarding space utilization and product placement strategies. Engage in range review discussions and provide insights to refine product assortments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Background in space planning and planogram development, ideally within a retail context. Proficiency in space planning tools (e.g., JDA Space Planning, Relex Space Planning). Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data and consumer behavior. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in planogram design. Strategic thinking with the ability to balance business goals and customer preferences. Understanding of retail merchandising principles and current industry trends. Flexibility and readiness to adapt in a fast-paced retail setting.
