About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC system designs for various projects across the Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement concept designs, feasibility studies, and front-end engineering design (FEED) for HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and optimal solutions
  • Manage vendors to achieve project deliverables within budget and on schedule
  • Prepare, check, and review HVAC engineering design documentation, including technical specifications, control philosophies, system philosophies, basis of design, HVAC and LEV calculations, datasheets, system layouts, and ductwork design
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements
Requirements
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in similar industries
  • Strong understanding of HVAC regulations, codes, industry standards, and engineering practices
  • Chartered accreditation with the IMechE (or working towards)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and decision-making skills
