Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism in our supported living services in Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and wider support networks to promote their health and wellbeing, independence, and community connections. You will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker, supporting individuals to achieve their goals and dreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with learning disabilities or autism
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote health and wellbeing
  • Support individuals to maintain their tenancies and participate in their local community
  • Act as a Key Worker, supporting individuals to achieve their goals and dreams
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a 'can-do approach', person-centred values, energy, and commitment. You will need good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to develop good quality support plans, and a strong work ethic and duty of care. Being a car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle) is essential for this role, with mileage allowance paid.
