Job Title: Cat 2 Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cat 2 Inspection Engineer to join our team at Risktec Resourcing. As a Cat 2 Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Written Schemes of Examination (WSE), identifying preparation requirements, and conducting examinations in accordance with the WSE. You will also be responsible for undertaking simple NDT, coordinating NDT providers, and preparing clear reports.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review Written Schemes of Examination (WSE)
* Identify preparation requirements from the WSE
* Conduct examinations in accordance with the WSE
* Undertake simple NDT - ultrasonic thickness checks, magnetic particle, dye penetrant
* Coordinate NDT providers for extensive requirements or specialist methods
* Prepare clear reports including photographs
* Assess deterioration
* Review design calculations and sentence defects

Requirements:

* HNC/Degree Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Incorporated Engineer status desirable
* Hold a UKAS RG21 Cat 2 Certificate
* At least 5 years' experience within a relevant engineering discipline
* At least one year's experience working within an engineering discipline associated with in-service inspection of pressure systems
