Age UK's National Advice Line is seeking a skilled Information and Advice Specialist to join our team.
As an Information and Advice Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate, impartial, and comprehensive information and advice to support older people and those seeking advice to support an older person in need.
Our team of trained Advisors are dedicated to empowering older people to access the support they need and understand their statutory rights.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and complex information in a clear and empathic way, offering advice over the phone and by email.
- Offer guidance on accessing health and social care services, as well as information on statutory rights and welfare.
- Work closely with the team to provide a vital service to older people and those seeking advice to support an older person in need.
As an Information and Advice Specialist with Age UK, you will receive extensive specialist training based on the current legislation relevant to older people's rights and welfare.
You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and supportive team, making a real difference to older people across the country.
