Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and education to children and young people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective therapeutic programs to support the emotional and psychological well-being of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to design and deliver individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to address any challenges.
  • Provide training and support to our staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively with children and young people with special needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of clinical psychology and special education, and incorporate this knowledge into your work.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
