About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Wilkinson & Associates Ltd. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Credit Manager in leading the team to achieve efficient, effective, and scalable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Credit Control Team Lead to deliver strategic targets, providing coaching and guidance to the team on day-to-day operations.
- Ensure internal processes are adhered to and in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enable timely cash collection.
- Develop effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to resolve issues impacting cash collection promptly.
- Coordinate and deliver all SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through the team, escalating any potential non-delivery immediately.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the team on day-to-day operations.
- Liaise with other departments and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of accounting and general accounting practices relevant to the role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to manage self and others.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Speed and accuracy are essential to meet deadlines.
