This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Neurology at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
Main ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to provide expert care to our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Neurology and be able to offer expert opinion and take full responsibility for the clinical care of patients across the wide spectrum of paediatric disorders.
The role will involve working closely with senior colleagues to shape the future of paediatric services and contributing to the operational performance, clinical quality, and resource management of the service.
Key Requirements- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a Licence to practice at time of application
- Full Membership of RCPCH
- CCT or within 6 months of attaining CCT at time of interview or entry onto GMC Specialist Register by time of interview or equivalent
- APLS provider
- Training in Child Protection/Safeguarding (Min Level 3)
