Senior Financial Analyst

Neon Healthcare Ltd is a dynamic and ambitious pharmaceutical company seeking a highly motivated and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance Team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support the development of a reliable and responsive financial planning and analytics function.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
Financial Planning & Analysis- Assisting with the annual budget process, including the development of templates, budget models, and coordination of timetables, meetings, and deliverables with the CFO, Senior Leadership Team, and Business Unit Heads.
- Supporting the quarterly reforecast process.
- Developing and maintaining the financial planning model, incorporating a fully integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecast over a 5-year time horizon.
- Collaborating with the Head of FP&A to develop and maintain financial planning tools and systems.
- Preparing monthly revenue reporting and analysis for the Commercial team.
- Preparing the monthly Business Unit reporting vs Budget/Reforecast, leading monthly meetings to discuss variances and providing clear and insightful commentary to explain key variances and risks to budget and forecasts.
- Working with the Head of FP&A to prepare comprehensive, accurate, and timely financial reports and presentations for the Board, Business Units, and External Stakeholders in line with agreed timelines.
- Assisting with the consolidation of financial data across all Neon group companies and other key metrics to report business performance.
- Preparing monthly updates to the financial model.
- Preparing reporting for the Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing to the Department of Health & Social Care.
- Other financial reports as required by the business.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial models to show the financial impact of potential business opportunities and investments.
- Assisting with sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
- Assisting with the collation of information for the annual renewal of the company's insurance policies.
- Assisting with the annual statutory audit of the company.
- Assisting with the annual audit of the Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing Scheme.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team by working with the Head of FP&A to identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements and enhancing controls.
- Supporting the development of a best-in-practice FP&A team.
- Staying current with industry trends and advancements in financial management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) qualification.
- Experience of management reporting and explanation of key drivers of variances.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to think strategically, challenge current processes, and introduce improvements.
- Ability to embrace technological change and work in a growing, fast-paced business with a team receptive to growth and improvement.
- Strong systems skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with confidence to present numbers to stakeholders outside of Finance.
- Highly organized with an ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload to meet tight deadlines.
