About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Permanent Way Engineer to join our team at Colas Rail. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and transforming vital UK rail infrastructure across Anglia.

As a Permanent Way Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including S&C, Plain Line, Re-rail, and Level Crossing projects. You will be a key player in ensuring our works are completed on time, safely, to standard and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on the planning and execution of works
  • Work within a team of Pway Engineers and Delivery Team to ensure technical compliance
  • Assist Construction Managers on production and planning of documents
  • Monitor and ensure technical compliance on multi-disciplinary sites
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years P-Way Engineering (Tech) experience
  • Dozing using 2D lasers and 3D UTS
  • Tamping
  • Stressing all levels preferable
  • Knowledge of Track Renewals / Rail Projects
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility with working shift patterns
