Job Summary

Cawood Scientific is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process customer requests for analysis results, invoices, and other general information.
  • Update customer records as necessary, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the collection and return of samples, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services Manager and Accounts team to submit invoices, purchase orders, and reports.
  • Receive and distribute mail, ensuring external mail is franked.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and customers.
  • Assist with sample storage and collection from the laboratory.
  • Accurately input information from other companies to produce certificates.
  • Create forage packs for customer sample returns.
  • Greet new and existing customers, building relationships to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service and office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including workload management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A personal means of transport, due to our semi-rural location.
