Lead PMO Analyst

A distinguished aerospace and engineering firm is seeking a Senior PMO Analyst to join their team. This role involves leveraging data warehousing expertise to enhance the processes and systems essential for tracking and reporting project status.
In collaboration with various stakeholders, you will conduct comprehensive financial assessments of projects utilizing internal systems, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives. You will work closely with Programme Managers and the finance department to manage project and cost reporting.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for two days of remote work each week.
Key Responsibilities - Senior PMO Analyst
- Execute cost monitoring and generate reports to facilitate project updates, audits, and invoicing.
- Develop project system reports that include cost evaluations, baseline comparisons, and variance assessments.
- Perform data analysis encompassing Earned Value Management (EVM), trends, completion costs, and contribution metrics.
- Establish and standardize reporting protocols using innovative resources and tools through enterprise systems and project reporting technologies.
- Champion process enhancements and system upgrades, comprehending integration points and formulating effective revenue tracking policies, analyses, and reporting frameworks.
- Utilize data warehouse tools such as Power BI for effective project planning, monitoring, and decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills - Senior PMO Analyst
- Proven experience as a PMO, Business Analyst, or Programmes Analyst with a solid grasp of data warehousing tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and advanced MS Excel, complemented by project planning experience. Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint systems is a plus.
- Background in accountancy is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Portfolio Project Cost reporting and proficiency in various planning software and tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen and engage with colleagues.
