Position Overview

A prestigious aerospace and engineering firm is seeking a Senior PMO Analyst with expertise in data warehousing. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and overseeing the systems and processes necessary for accurate project status reporting.

In collaboration with diverse stakeholders, you will conduct comprehensive financial analyses of projects utilizing internal systems, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives. Your interactions will primarily involve Programme Managers and the finance department concerning project and cost reporting.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility with remote work options.

Key Responsibilities - Senior PMO Analyst

  • Execute cost tracking and generate reports to facilitate project updates, audits, and invoicing processes.
  • Develop project system reports that encompass cost analysis, baseline assessments, and variance evaluations.
  • Perform data analysis to address Earned Value Management (EVM), trends, completion costs, and contribution reporting.
  • Establish and standardize reporting mechanisms using innovative resources and tools, leveraging enterprise systems and project reporting technologies.
  • Enhance process efficiencies and system upgrades, recognizing integration points and formulating effective revenue tracking policies, analyses, and reporting frameworks.
  • Utilize data warehousing tools, particularly Power BI, for effective project planning, monitoring, and decision-making.

Qualifications - Senior PMO Analyst

  • Proven experience as a PMO or Business Analyst with a solid grasp of data warehousing tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and advanced MS Excel, complemented by project planning experience. Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint systems is advantageous.
  • Background in accountancy is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Portfolio Project Cost reporting and proficiency in various planning software and packages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen and engage with colleagues.
