We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Benenden Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine care and support to patients, including setting up equipment and escorting patients to clinics.
- Update patient information on our IT system accurately and efficiently.
- Work under the supervision of senior staff to undertake a wide range of tasks, including taking vital signs and maintaining accurate records.
- Act as a patient advocate, maintaining their dignity and providing relevant information.
- GCSE level or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional qualification, such as NVQ Level III in Health & Social Care.
- Basic life support training or willingness to undertake.
- Basic phlebotomy and ECG monitoring experience or willingness to train.
- Excellent written skills and ability to multitask.
- Tact and diplomacy, effective communication, and a strong patient-centered approach.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
