About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Senior Asset Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering asset integration and pre-operational activities for site and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement asset integration strategies and through-life management plans to ensure seamless integration of new assets and infrastructure into site business management systems.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within the project and end-user teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the development of operations, maintenance, and asset management strategies to optimize asset performance and reduce costs.
  • Implement post-handover asset management arrangements to ensure ongoing asset performance and maintenance.
  • Maintain production and validation of working-level instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Time-served experience in engineering, maintenance, or operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles and practices.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering diverse scopes of work to challenging schedules.
  • Experience in producing and validating working-level instructions.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified in a STEM subject.
  • Experience working within or exposure to asset integration, pre-operations, or project transitions.
