Job Title: Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical reports and performing imaging examinations to a consistently high standard.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide plain film services with high-quality clinical reports for inpatient, outpatient, and GP services.
  • Perform examinations and imaging in line with governmental and departmental protocols, working both alone and within radiology and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Be responsible for the operational supervision and management of allocated areas, assessing and managing workflow to utilize available resources to deliver prompt, efficient, and effective services.
  • Participate in request validation, vetting, and justification in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Check patient identification and documentation and ensure the appropriate radiographic/imaging examinations are carried out in accordance with departmental protocols and clinical requests.
