Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our subcontract management team and drive the on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of high-value sub-systems. As a key member of our procurement team, you will provide commercial guidance to internal customers and manage risk and opportunity to safeguard the interests of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead subcontract management across the entire life cycle of our products
  • Project manage the delivery of high-value sub-systems
  • Provide commercial guidance to internal customers
  • Manage risk and opportunity to safeguard the interests of the business

Requirements:

  • Experience of procurement subcontract management in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find tangible solutions
  • Ability to provide continuous support and co-operation to senior internal and external customers
  • Continuous improvement of opportunities, analysis of situations, and presentation of possibilities while balancing risk
