The Sales Manager will oversee a dedicated sales team and spearhead revenue enhancement initiatives for the organization. This role involves establishing sales objectives, crafting and executing sales plans, and guiding the sales personnel to fulfill their targets.
Essential Skills and Expertise:
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales or operational capacity with robust team leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with a focus on mentoring and coaching.
- Proficient in fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to devise and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
- Establish sales targets and ensure the sales team meets these benchmarks.
- Track sales performance and provide regular updates to the executive leadership.
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales team, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and resources to achieve their goals.
- Identify skill gaps within the team and create a plan for professional development.
- Work in partnership with Marketing, Finance, and other departments to ensure sales strategies are in harmony with the overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer insights to uncover new sales opportunities and enhance sales processes.
- Provide direction and support to the sales team to maintain high levels of motivation and engagement.
