We are seeking a skilled Pension and Actuarial Professional to join our client, a leading Financial Services Organisation, in a newly created GMPe Calculations Test Analyst role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical pensions and/or actuarial professional to utilise and develop their industry expertise in a dynamic and growing organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Testing results and outputs on Pension and Actuarial calculation and data projects.
  • Collaborating with the project team to understand project needs and contribute to the test approach and planning.
  • Defining testing requirements, drafting test plans, coverage, scripts and expected results from project documentation and by working with the project team.
  • Executing tests and recording results, logging issues and drafting testing reports.
  • Analysing results and identifying remedial actions.
  • Participating in client meetings and project status calls.
  • Supporting the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in testing on complex Pension projects including calculations and/or data with end-to-end experience of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent technical pension's knowledge in Defined Benefit schemes (and legislation) and experience in working with complex Defined Benefit pension calculations testing including GMPe projects.
  • Familiarity with different testing approaches and tools, which would be highly advantageous.
