Project Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Finance Transformation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of change in Finance operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with Finance Change SMEs and the Testing/PMO function to ensure that best practice controls are operated throughout the change delivery cycle.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, either through regular steering committees, routine MI or risk forums.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Finance Operational teams, including Banking and Payments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Unit Pricing and Investment Reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered to time, budget, and expected quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective problem-solving strategies, seeking continuous improvement, optimisation, and automation in the Finance Operations function.

What You'll Get

  • Salary: Up to £45,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
