Job Title: Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in establishing consistently excellent social work practice in our teams.

About the Role

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will hold a caseload of some of our children needing the most skilled help, and share your expertise with others through modelling, coaching, reflective supervision, and other learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a caseload of complex cases and provide expert guidance and support to colleagues
  • Develop and implement effective interventions to improve outcomes for children and families
  • Contribute to the development of social work practice and policy within the organization
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and supervision to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure high-quality social work practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Significant experience of working with children and families in a statutory social work setting
  • Proven expertise in social work practice and policy development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
