About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding & Review Expert to join our team at Starling Bank. As a key member of our digital banking team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and secure onboarding of high-risk applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of reviewing high-risk applications using Starling's risk appetite to ensure we serve customers in a timely manner, while keeping the bank and its customers safe.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to large groups, using trends and data to proactively seek improvements to existing processes.
  • Design, simplify, review, and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Proactively build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and leverage these when working on guidance and projects.
  • Coach and provide feedback to team members, with the ability to deliver structured sessions that are goals-centric.

Requirements:

  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to balance this with interpreting the bank's risk appetite.
  • Competent in coaching and feedback, with the ability to deliver structured sessions that are goals-centric.
  • Ability to create meaningful, interactive training sessions on Risk and EDD.
