Job Description

Role Summary

The Digital Preservation Coalition is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the delivery of our flagship enterprise project, 'Critical Cataloguing for Digital Preservation'. As a Digital Preservation Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the market readiness of our Southampton Digital Preservation Advisory Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in day-to-day client development, liaison, and partnerships to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Undertake horizon scanning and market activation to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Work closely with the project lead to meet project objectives and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans, strategies, and proposals to secure funding and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in a related area, such as digital preservation, archives, or information management.
  • Proven track record of success in a business development or project coordination role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
