About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Preservation Training Officer to join our team at the University of Southampton. As a key member of our Digital Preservation Advisory Unit, you will play a central role in delivering training, advice, and support in the domain of digital preservation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs in digital preservation for staff and students across the School of Humanities
- Provide expert advice and support on digital preservation best practices
- Contribute to the development of digital preservation policies and procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services to clients and partners
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in digital preservation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A professional qualification or equivalent experience in digital preservation is essential.
