Commissioning Manager Job Summary

Amentum is a leading global technical and engineering services partner, delivering exceptional results in highly regulated environments. We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team on major projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute commissioning work scopes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, monitoring progress and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Apply a proactive and balanced approach to safety, ensuring compliance with nuclear, radiological, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide accurate reporting on commissioning progress and performance, taking corrective actions as required.
  • Plan, prioritize, and deploy commissioning resources to support successful project delivery.
  • Research and deploy innovative techniques to enhance commissioning efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage day-to-day liaison with personnel to minimize project impact.
Accountabilities:
  • Ensure accurate inclusion of commissioning work scope within project schedules.
  • Lead and coach teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, meeting schedule and quality requirements.
  • Ensure commissioning work is controlled in line with Amentum's processes and procedures.
  • Verify that testing and commissioning demonstrate compliance with safety and design performance requirements.
  • Assess, authorize, and maintain competence of Amentum and supply chain commissioning teams.
  • Record and disseminate 'Learning from Experience'.
Requirements:
  • High-level qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in commissioning or engineering management in a highly regulated environment (Nuclear, Energy, Petrochem sectors).
  • Experience managing multi-discipline delivery teams, including supply chain organizations.
