Compensation: £21,600

Are you dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students with special needs? Our partner institution in Peckham is looking for a committed and empathetic full-time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to become part of their educational team.

Key Duties:


• Deliver personalized assistance to Year 6 pupils with special educational requirements.


• Collaborate with the classroom educator to foster an inclusive educational atmosphere.


• Execute tailored learning plans and methodologies.


• Aid students in their social and emotional growth.


• Partner with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator to track and report on student achievements.

Qualifications:


• Prior experience in supporting children with special educational needs.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• A patient and understanding demeanor in assisting students.


• Capability to work cooperatively within a team setting.


• Relevant certifications or training in special educational needs (preferred but not mandatory).

All salary rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advertisement pertains to a temporary role, with the possibility of a permanent position becoming available later.
