We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. Our institution is committed to providing a supportive environment for children and young adults aged 5-18 with diverse special educational needs (SEN), including:
  • Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Emotional and Behavioral Challenges
  • Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Speech and Language Communication Needs

Role Overview:
Your primary responsibility will be to assist students on both an individual and group basis, focusing on their educational development and personal care requirements during school hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities in their daily activities.
  • Engage with pupils to foster their academic and social growth.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement tailored learning strategies.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Experience in supporting young individuals with learning challenges.
  • Competitive remuneration based on experience.
  • Availability for a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Requirements:
  • Willingness to undergo training in moving and handling.
  • A valid DBS registration with the online update service or readiness to apply for a new one.
  • Availability to work five days a week.
