Job Title: Electrical Shift Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Team Leader to join our team at Integral UK LTD. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of critical facilities and data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engineering team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of critical facilities and data center infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise: Operate and maintain electrical systems, including MV switching operations, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Planning and Coordination: Prepare and support specialist vendor planned, reactive, and corrective works, ensuring relevant change management approval is submitted for all critical works.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that specialist vendor worksheets are signed off, and quality of work is inspected and recommendations are communicated by the engineering team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with the supply chain, attend site meetings with clients, and participate in engineering quality assurance processes.
  • Training and Development: Participate in nominated training courses, drive a positive culture within the team regarding personal development and training, and coach new employees as part of the onboarding process.
  • Alarm Response and Escalations: Respond to critical alarms and escalate issues when on duty.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in critical environments, such as corporate banking or data centers.
  • Qualifications: Electrical Engineering HNC/HND/NVQ, C&G Pts. 1 & 2, 17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation, IOSH Working Safely, IPAF (Combined), L8 Awareness Training.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, enthusiasm for achieving high standards of operation, and good IT and report writing skills.
