**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at Woodgreen, Pets Charity. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of our charity shop.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Shop Manager in the management of the shop, including stock deliveries and collections, cash handling, and team management.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a loyal and committed team of volunteers.
  • Ensure the shop is maintained to the highest retail standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive and inclusive work environment.

**What We Offer**

  • A competitive salary of £23,400 per annum, pro rata, for a 8-hour week on a flexible seven-day rota basis.
  • Up to 8% employer pension contributions.
  • Life assurance (4x salary).
  • 25% discount in our charity shop.
  • Free parking.

**Requirements**

  • Personable, hands-on, and committed to achieving the highest retail standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
