Investment Surveyor Opportunity

Falmouth Fairfax Real Estate Recruitment is seeking a skilled Investment Surveyor to join their team. As an Investment Surveyor, you will be responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities that support the expansion of the city council's housing portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Originate and secure investment properties through financial analysis, negotiation, and market knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships with agents, developers, and vendors to source potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess investment potential and returns.
  • Undertake due diligence on prospective acquisitions to mitigate risks and ensure successful transactions.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, collaborating with the legal team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and proposals to secure internal investment approvals.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in surveying, real estate, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in the acquisition of residential real estate, ideally 5+ years.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to build and manage complex investment models and evaluate deals in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with legal, tax, and corporate finance professionals.
Remuneration:

A competitive salary of £53,000 - £72,000, dependent on prior experience, plus benefits including a generous pension and parental benefits.
