Falmouth Fairfax is seeking a skilled Investment Surveyor to join their team. As an Investment Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in identifying and executing investment opportunities that support the expansion of the city council's housing portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Originate and secure investment properties that align with the company's acquisition criteria.
  • Build and maintain relationships with agents, developers, and vendors to source potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analyses to evaluate the investment potential and returns of prospective acquisitions.
  • Undertake due diligence on prospective acquisitions to de-risk transactions and ensure alignment with the company's investment strategy.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, coordinating with the legal team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare reports and proposals to secure internal investment approvals and ensure alignment with the company's investment objectives.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in surveying, real estate, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in the acquisition of residential real estate, ideally 5+ years.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to build and manage complex investment models and evaluate deals in Excel.
  • The ability to converse with legal, tax, and corporate finance individuals to ensure effective collaboration.

Remuneration:

A competitive salary of £53,000 - £72,000, dependent on prior experience, plus benefits including a generous pension and parental benefits.
