As a Business Insights Analyst, you will collaborate closely with product innovation leaders and both business and technical teams. You will significantly contribute to the requirements documentation, which encompasses drafting business and functional specifications. You should conduct feasibility assessments and work alongside product innovation and business stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product features, ensuring seamless integration between business objectives and technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the product innovation lifecycle by: Defining the requirements strategy, including articulating the business challenges and primary goals of new solutions Developing comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and translating them into functional specifications and process models that reflect specific business needs Gathering, documenting, and updating user stories and use cases in Jira Providing ongoing support by managing the backlog, determining functionality for each release, and ensuring each sprint delivers business value Analyzing and modeling the business landscape to create a holistic view of workflows across relevant audiences and scenarios addressed by existing and proposed solutions Collaborating with solution architects to ensure new developments meet business demands, facilitating communication between business and technical teams during analysis and planning phases Offering analytical support by coordinating data extraction from various sources and interpreting data as needed Contributing to project plans, defining project requirements, and identifying key milestones and phases Estimating costs, benefits, and time requirements for tasks, including risk assessment and potential ROI for stakeholders Supporting implementation efforts and participating in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and comprehensive functionality testing Understanding system capabilities and maintaining technical user documentation in JIRA to support innovation initiatives

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Functional, Data, or Business Analyst with a strong foundation in business analysis, system design, and testing Ability to create functional and non-functional designs Advanced proficiency in Excel, Visio, MS Project, and JIRA Experience in customer interfacing and application integration projects Previous project management experience, including risk management and familiarity with various project methodologies (AGILE, PMBOK, Prince2) Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and industry best practices Familiarity with development processes – SDLC, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and agile ceremonies Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas at all organizational levels
