Marketing Communications Specialist

Main ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly motivated marketing and communications professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using their written and digital skills to communicate, publicise, and support our work in services across England. This includes developing and promoting a range of online, digital, and accessible engagement methods.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to use your talents in an organisation that truly lives its values of integrity, valuing each individual, being solution-focused, and consistently delivering high-quality support. You will work closely with operational leaders, practitioners, and marketing and communications colleagues to build Compass's profile in both the local and national context.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a communications/marketing degree or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience of successfully working in a marketing or communications role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent copywriting, proof-reading, and editorial skills.
The successful candidate will also have proven experience in supporting the delivery, development, and evaluation of high-quality and targeted marketing campaigns, strong social media skills, and the ability to create and analyse engaging marketing emails using Mailchimp (or similar). Additionally, they will be competent in using WordPress CMS to update and develop service webpages and able to use analytics tools to create meaningful reports.
