Senior Project Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our team at Healthcare Improvement Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Excellence in Care Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver projects within agreed parameters, including timescales, cost, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including project team members, sponsors, and end-users.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
