A prominent entity in the manufacturing sector specializing in safety-critical components is seeking to appoint a seasoned Quality Manager to enhance their operations.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily Quality Assurance functions, pinpoint and communicate significant risks, and manage strategies for mitigation.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for Quality Assurance
- Oversee the internal Quality Management System to guarantee compliance with customer and legal standards
- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and LEAN methodologies
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions within the Quality framework, providing necessary training and coaching to ensure adherence to processes.
- Engage in supplier development and management
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in team management and development
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and Part21G standards
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action processes
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of LEAN and Six-Sigma principles
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for supplier and customer engagements
